Biking to 50

I'm almost 50, my goal is to be fit when I turn 50. I took up biking again when my wife Terri bought me the best present, a Trek Madone 4.5 road bike, just perfect for my goal of getting and staying in shape. I have worked up to a number of 100 mile century rides and 1000's of road miles, I may blog on some of those trips as a historical reference, but for now this is my blog going forward to talk about the places I see and rides I take on my goal to being "Fit at 50". I rode out to Corona to see my folks, it was harder then I expected. I had been working out at the gym, but I guess it's just not the same as actually getting on the bike. I was worn out, but it was a good 57 mile ride.
